- Brass with Zinc in the alloy, has high anti-oxidant properties and helps in preserving the produce stored in these containers.
- Brass could react with acidic material stored, so we provide these containers with a tin coating to provide an added level of safety.
- NOTE : This product comes in solid brass finish without the tin coating inside. Brass on its own is fantastic for dry storage like spices or dry fruits. However, if it's meant for storing cooked food, liquids, or anything acidic, a traditional Tin Coating (Kalai) on the inside is essential to make it 100% food-safe.
