    • Aranmula Kannadi, or the Aranmula metal mirror, is a handmade metal-alloy mirror, made in Aranmula, a small town in Pathanamthitta, Kerala in South India.
    • In a normal mirror, the image is formed from the inner surface. However, in Aranmula Kannadi, the light will reflect from the outer surface (i.e., from a polished metal surface) which gives a perfect image.
    • Each and every mirror is unique in its appearance, design and other attributes. Basically, three types of models are available. Hand mirror, Back stand, Fixed stand. In normal cases, the hand mirrors are the smallest and back stand is heavier and the fixed one is the heaviest.
    • We also provide special models based on our customer requirements like award mementos, hall of fame etc.

    Can acidic foods be safely cooked in bronze cookware?

    Kansa has a high % of tin in the alloy making it safe to cook any food. Acidic food can be stored/served for up to 4 hours without adverse reactions from the copper in the alloy. However, avoid storing food in bronze cookware long after cooking.

    Are brass utensils safe for cooking and serving?

    Brass utensils can be safe when properly prepared—especially if they have a food-safe tin lining or coating to prevent metal leaching. Using an appropriate coating and avoiding prolonged contact with acidic or salty foods is key.

    Is bronze cookware compatible with induction cooktops?

    No. Bronze cookwares are not suitable for induction cooking due to their non-magnetic properties. They are designed to be used on gas and ceramic hot plates. Consider using an induction converter plate/disk to use Bronze/kansa on an induction cooktop.

    Are Bronze/castiron products Dishwasher safe? Any specific cleaning instructions ?

    Cast iron and bronze utensils can be cleaned with any type of washing soap.

    How do I maintain the shine and prevent tarnish on brass items?

    Polish periodically using natural cleaning mixtures such as lemon juice with baking soda or a paste made of flour, salt, and vinegar, then rinse and dry
